Our Vision

At NCC, our vision is grounded in a fundamental belief that every individual deserves to lead a life filled with opportunities, respect, and autonomy.

Our values are the pillars that uphold this vision, guiding every aspect of our work and interactions. These values are not just ideals we strive for; they are the practices we live by every day as we work towards building lives without limitations. Below are the core values that define our approach and commitment to those we serve:

  • We honor the ambitions and individuality of our clients, treating each person with the utmost dignity and respect.

  • Our focus is on encouraging and empowering clients to set and achieve their personal goals.

  • We are dedicated to giving our clients meaningful roles in the community, fostering a sense of belonging and contribution.

  • We emphasize teaching skills that promote independence, enabling our clients to lead more self-sufficient lives.

  • We commit to developing and retaining employees who are passionate about providing excellent care.

  • Our services are evaluated consistently to ensure continuous improvement and the highest quality of care.

  • We give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves and provide a platform for those who can, ensuring every individual is heard and represented.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services and supports to people with developmental disabilities, including:

  • Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF): We operate eight distinct residential homes within Cuyahoga County, each ranging in size from 8 to 18 beds, catering to individuals with moderate to profound cognitive disabilities. Our dedicated staff provides exceptional medical, behavioral/psychological, social, dietary, and daily living skills services to ensure the well-being of each resident. • Waiver and the Individual Options Waiver (I/O Waiver). Our Waiver Division comprises approximately 26 sites, including licensed and non-licensed homes. The level of support provided is tailored to each individual's unique needs, as determined by a Support Plan developed in collaboration with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. We provide support to individuals who may live independently, with family, or in shared settings with up to four other individuals. Learn More About Waiver Services.

  • Day Program and Community Volunteer Center: Our Community-Based Day Program empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to fully engage and contribute to their communities. We aim to foster social inclusion, regardless of the level of support an individual may require. We achieve this by creating support networks with community members and agencies, facilitating equal access to community resources for individuals with disabilities. Our programs adhere to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines for accessibility, ensuring inclusivity for all participants. Learn More About the Day Program.
