A Message From Our CEO

Since our inception in 1982 many things have changed. We have grown considerably. State and Medicaid rules and regulations have been tweaked, revised, and updated more times than we can count. The term of mental retardation was changed to developmental disability. Individual homes in the community have taken precedence over large facilities and institutions. Community-integrated services are now the norm. The individuals we serve are now encouraged to follow their dreams and be active members of their service plan. Staff receive regular training regarding person-centered planning, empathy care, and community integration.

One concept has not changed since 1982. The individuals we are entrusted to serve remain our primary focus. We exist to provide the best services and care to each and every individual that we serve. We are thankful for the opportunity to help each of our individuals grow and become more independent.
